Welcome! I’m currently writing a book about the psychology of “meta-narratives,” the collective stories of groups, like scientific progress, looming disasters like climate change, or the need to return to better times.
I’m a researcher with a Ph.D. in social/personality psychology, and I work primarily at Oregon Research Institute. My interests include beliefs and worldviews, ethics, motivation, and relationships, both among humans and between humans and the natural world.
Thanks for visiting!

Hi! I was reading your article about what Haidt’s Moral Foundation Theory has wrong and was wondering if you had some articles I could refer to that you used for information ?
Thanks!
Hi, Maggie – the main authors I would recommend are Kurt Gray and Ronnie Janoff-Bulman, both of whom have published papers with more scientifically valid approaches to understanding morality. More recently, Jeff Sinn has been doing some interesting work – here’s a link to one of his related papers: https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/full/10.1111/pops.12361
